A Douglas woman who hit another woman in the face during an argument in the street will be sentenced in June.
20-year-old Arianna Nicole Skillen, of Peel Road, appeared at Douglas Courthouse yesterday.
She entered a guilty plea to assault causing actual bodily harm on Marathon Road on January 20th.
At 9pm that night Skillen became involved in a verbal altercation with a woman on the opposite side of the road.
The court was told she ran across the road and struck the woman knocking her to the floor - she then straddled her, holding her hair and striking her face.
The victim was left with significant facial bruising and double vision.
Social enquiry reports have been requested before she's sentenced on June 8th - she's been bailed in the meantime.
