A teenager from Douglas will be sentenced next year after telling a policewoman he hoped she, and her children, would die.
19-year-old Harry Robert Warrillier-Grant launched an expletive fuelled tirade at the officer outside The Courthouse on Athol Street on December 9th.
At Douglas Courthouse on Tuesday Warrillier-Grant, of Western Avenue, admitted using threatening, abusive or insulting words or behaviour.
He also pleaded guilty to resisting the police officer - it's alleged he tried to head-butt her as he was being arrested just before 2am.
The prosecution rejected a basis of plea put forward by Warrillier-Grant's advocate - CCTV will now be reviewed before a date for sentencing is set.
The teenager has been bailed before his next appearance in court on January 15th.
