A Douglas man has appeared in court after being accused of abusing the Island’s telephone system.
50-year-old Jonathan Richard Fletcher, of Derby Road, allegedly made nuisance or annoying phone calls on October 26th .
An application to adjourn the case was granted by Magistrates.
There was no application for bail and he was remanded at the Isle of Man Prison until his next court appearance on November 20th .
During an appearance at Douglas Courthouse on November 20th the prosecution withdrew the charge against Mr Fletcher.
