A Douglas man who’s accused of cheating the benefit system has appeared in court.
48-year-old Brendan Murphy, of Windsor Road, allegedly made false representations to obtain benefits in October 2017.
He’s also been charged with failing to inform the government that his circumstances had changed between June 2015 and January 2018.
Bail was granted until his next court appearance on July 19th.
