A Castletown man has appeared in court after being accused of assaulting a female police officer.
35-year-old Michael Kewley has also been charged with being drunk and disorderly and resisting a police officer in execution of their duty.
The offences are alleged to have been committed outside The British Hotel on North Quay in Douglas on December 23rd last year.
A three week adjournment was requested - he's been bailed until his next court appearance on January 31st.
