Douglas Council has applied for retrospective planning permission for a sign at the capital's railway station.
The local authority has applied for permission for the eight by five foot sign which is in the station's car park.
It provides directions to various places in Douglas and contains historical information about the railway.
The council's also applied for registered building consent for the sign.
