Douglas Council has applied for planning permission to let campervans stay in Noble's Park for longer.
The local authority says it had to turn away 18 motorhomes from a club after four nights last year because of a planning condition in the park's Boneyard area.
The council says it wants to allow campervans which are part of an organised event to stay for up to a fortnight.
In its application, it says it doesn't want to lose any economic benefits to local businesses.
