Douglas Council says less than two per cent of its homes were empty at the end of January.
At its last meeting the Housing and Property Committee heard a report about the number of vacant properties.
Members were told there were 46 empty homes, representing 1.9 per cent of the local authority's total stock.
Work to repair another 71 homes which were classed as void rather than empty was also underway.
