Douglas Council looks set to demolish a cottage at the town's cemetery.
When the council sits this month, members will be asked to approve spending £30,000 to tear down the disused building at Douglas Borough Cemetery.
Last January, the local authority agreed to sell the property but the deal fell through after planners turned down an application to change its use to residential.
Now, the Housing and Property Committee has recommended putting in a new planning application to demolish the building.
