The future of the Lord Street Bus station will be revealed soon, according to Douglas Council.
This week, local authority leader David Christian announced the news in his budget speech.
He says the car park at the bus station isn't the image he wants for the Isle of Man and he's excited to kickstart the redevelopment of the site.
The bus station was demolished in 2002 and although a number of plans have been proposed, nothing has been put in place.
