One in 12 people on the Island say they've gone without essentials because they can't afford it.
That's according to a new survey by Channel Islands firm Island Global Research after it carried out a survey about the cost of living on the Isle of Man.
According to the company, one in three people have had trouble meeting heating and power costs, while one in four people needed help with their everyday living costs in the past year.
Its research also discovered one in seven people couldn't manage an unexpected bill of £100.
