Plans have been put forward which could see major changes to the Douglas promenades.
A local architect wants to replace the railings that run the length of the prom with a sea wall and visitor attraction.
The scheme would allegedly minimise future flood damage to the prom, and breathe some vitality into what is the most visited and walked footway on the Island.
