Could Manx Care be scrapped?

That's one of the options being suggested by a new report into the governance of the healthcare body. 

Other alternatives include reintegrating Manx Care with the Department of Health and Social Care, or fully implementing all the recommendations of the 2019 Sir Jonathan Michael review, which founded the organisation.
