Thousands of pounds would need to be spent to prepare Castle Rushen for the swearing-in of the Island's new Lieutenant Governor.
That's according to figures revealed by Manx National Heritage this week - it says getting the former courtroom ready for the 90 minute ceremony would have cost up to £10,000.
Sir Richard Gozney will be officially sworn-in to his post on May 27th - the ceremony which normally takes place in the ancient capital will instead be moved to Douglas Courthouse.
