Infrastructure Minister Tim Crookall says no decision about privatising or corporatising the airport has yet been made.
This week in the House of Keys he faced questions about Ronaldsway's future from Central Douglas MHK Chris Thomas.
Mr Crookall said the airport's board was considering how it might run in future, but no decision had yet been made.
He said corporatisation was one option being investigated:
