The first batch of a Coronavirus vaccine on Island is expected 'over the next few weeks'.
That's according to Health Minister David Ashford following the news the Pfizer/BioNTech vaccine has been approved in the UK.
In England it's now due to be rolled out within the next week for those most in need.
Mr Ashford added the Island will receive the batch from the U.K and the amount will be based on population size.
The roll-out will start with those in nursing homes and their carers.
However, it's been emphasised it won't be a quick process - it'll take time with it being the biggest mass vaccination programme the Island has undertaken.
