Police have closed part of Douglas this morning due to a serious fire.
Pulrose Road is closed until further notice between the Pulrose Bridge traffic lights and Groves Road.
The Middle River and Riverside industrial estates are also shut off.
The cordon is in place to protect public safety.
Police have declined to say where the fire happened but say the road closure could be in place for up to 24 hours.
All bus services will divert in and out of Douglas via the Quarterbridge – there will be no service to any of the stops on Groves Road or Lower Pulrose.
