Fire crews say they spent about two hours tackling a fire near Peel at the weekend.
They were called out at around 4pm on Saturday when a controlled burn spread to hay bales in windy conditions.
They put the fire out before making sure the area was damped down.
The Fire and Rescue Service is asking people to take care with controlled burns, saying they can tie up vital resources during the TT period.
