Over half of those who responded to a consultation into secondary school uniform think it would benefit from some changes.
There were 1,162 total responses from parents, carers, students and teachers.
The majority think the number of branded items in PE kits could be minimised to cut down cost, with 55% suggesting the uniform is changed to be less formal.
Recurring themes within the responses included skirts being too short and the notion of a uniform causing conflict between students and teachers.
