Police have seized a ‘significant amount’ of suspected heroin and cocaine, at an estimated street value of £750,000.
The force says it’s the single largest seizure of class A controlled drugs in the Isle of Man Constabulary’s history.
A total amount of two kilos of heroin and 1.25 kilos of cocaine was taken.
It follows four arrests made in Douglas on Sunday, with three men charged with serious drug related offences, and one released on bail pending further investigations.
Two of those charged are local and the other is from the Merseyside area.
The constabulary says it’s working hard to ensure the Isle of Man remains a safe place to live and work.
