Conservation work is currently underway at Peel Castle.
Manx National Heritage has begun work on the Gatehouse, which is one of several areas of the castle undergoing conservation.
The works will also require a temporary closure of the footpath surrounding Peel castle, with access reinstated in the summer.
Work will continue into the visitor season, which runs from April to October.
