Worries over Atlantic salmon has led the Department of Environment, Food and Agriculture to introduce restrictions for fishers.
DEFA says the fish's declining population means it's introduced voluntary conservation measures for the coming season, with catch-and-release only fishing and the use of barbless hooks.
More potential regulatory measures are being looked at for 2027 as DEFA tries to help the salmon population recover.
A public consultation's been launched about salmon conservation - you can find out more and take part here.
