What can we do to get more children playing outside?
That’s the question being posed by The Children’s Centre which is hosting a conference next month to discuss the subject in more detail.
Experts in the field – including one of the UK’s leading thinkers on childhood and a leading play work theorist - will attend the conference.
Earlier this year the charity conducted a survey to see how attitudes have changed – with 90 per cent of parents saying they played outside more than their children do now.
