Concerns over increase in abusive patient behaviour

Concerns have been raised about an increase in abusive and aggressive behaviour at Noble's Hospital.

In the last 12 months there have been 50 recorded incidents, 19 of those were physical assaults on staff - here's chief nurse Linda Radcliffe: 
 
 
This week a Douglas man was fined £500 for what was described as "appalling behaviour" at the hospital earlier this month. 
 
Linda says they do understand attending hospital can be stressful and that patients may behave in unexpected ways:
