Wool prices are plummeting on Island, according to local farmers.
A social media post by local photographer, Mike Radcliffe shows a pile of dumped sheared wool, highlighting the struggles sheep farmers are facing.
An anonymous farmer said when all charges of sorting and putting wool on the boat are accounted for, they're only left with £35 for approximately 400 fleeces.
Numerous people suggested the wool be used for insulation, but there are concerns about who would pay for processing.
