The Office of Fair Trading is moving forward with the development of new legislation which legislates business competition.
A competition policy consultation was sent out to local businesses to gauge their opinion on how the Fair Trading Act 1996 should be modified.
The OFT will now shape the feedback into its next proposals, which will then again go out to the public.
Chief officer Mike Ball says the consultation produced a mixed bag of results:
Steam Packet sailings delayed tonight
PPE Medpro put into liquidation
Part of TT course closed tomorrow
Carl Cox backs cancer charity's TT fundraising auction
Business appeal over thousands in unpaid bills
Pharmacy plans for former IOM Bank
Appeal after wood from van damages car
Island part of union data breach investigation
