Eight companies have been fined a total of £1,980 after failing to pay national insurance on time.
Smart Wash and Valet Centre of Douglas, Brookfield Consultants of St. Johns and Buck Recycling of Ballasalla each faced four charges at Douglas magistrates court.
Regal Aluminium of Braddan faced three counts, while Coffee Republic faced two.
Holsan Electrical Limited and Miracles Limited, both based in Douglas, each faced one charge.
