An annual survey will be opened to all members of the public later today.
The Health and Lifestyle survey aims to find out more about the population's health, wellbeing, diet, physical activity and lifestyle choices.
Addresses were picked at random and each received a letter asking people to complete an online questionnaire.
However, the entire community is now being invited to fill in the survey so additional data can be gathered - although the original sample will be analysed separately.
The survey closes at midnight on October 29.
