Common Sense Prevailed Says Liberal Vannin Leader About Unanimous Backing for Private Members Bill
Liberal Vannin Leader Peter Karran has said he is happy to have seen common sense prevail yesterday in the House of Keys as his Private Member's Bill recieved unanimous backing.
It was a different story however back in October when it failed to even recieve a seconder.
The bill aims to ensure every person on the Isle of Man regardless of situation receives Health Insurance cover when they leave the Island to visit the UK, for only a minimal cost.
Although it still has a few more processes to go through before it can be activated it's designed to be easy to obtain and cheap.
3FM spoke to Peter Karran to get his feedback on yesterday's positive result for his party.
