A Tynwald Committee will examine the problems caused by recent flooding in Laxey.
The Environment and Infrastructure Policy Review Committee will analyse potential concerns for future damage to occur in other flood-prone areas of the Island.
The Committee is now inviting written submissions on this topic, with particular interest in: The maintenance of rivers, reservoirs and drains, the insurance implications for residents and businesses in flood-prone areas and the support received.
Submissions should be sent in by 18th November 2019.
