The committal hearing for a teenager charged with grievous bodily harm has been adjourned for four weeks.
Liam Priestnal from Douglas faces charges relating to an altercation with Darryl McGeown of Peel in the early hours of December 15.
Thirty-three-year-old Mr McGeown was in a coma for 10 days with critical head injuries and spent almost a month at Walton Hospital in Merseyside.
Mr Priestnal, who’s 17, attended Douglas Courthouse this morning but the court was informed the relevant papers had not been prepared by the Attorney General’s Office.
The hearing will now take place on March 21.
