Garff Commissioners will write to the government and post office officials this week over the future of Laxey Post Office.
The authority said in November last year it had expressed its feelings over a new retail strategy for Manx postal services which is due to see a series of changes come into effect.
Elsewhere, a coffee morning was held last week over the future of services in Ballasalla where post office bosses were questioned by local residents there about plans to replace a counter service in the town with a self-service kiosk.
The new vision for IOM Post Office, it says, is aimed at modernising services to adapt to changing demands from customers and commercial partners.
