Peel commissioners have unveiled detailed plans for a huge new venue near the town's bowling greens, which could hold up to 260 people and 10 staff.
The new information has been submitted as the local authority presses ahead with proposals to replace the current bowling green café.
Drawings show seating areas inside and outside, along with a large function room capable of seating 150 people and a round area housing a sculpture or flagpole.
In its application, the board says there were no objections on visual grounds when the plans were first submitted in principle.
