Commissioners in Port St Mary have expressed unhappiness over waste being wrongly dumped in the town.
Officials have come across cardboard being left outside the recycling point in the town where the material isn't accepted.
The authority says this puts its workforce at 'unnecessary risk' and CCTV at the site is now being checked.
It's urging those looking to get rid of cardboard to use the Southern Civic Amenity Site and, if bins are full, other recyclables can also be disposed of at the facility.
