Garff Commissioners have provided an update on plans for the public shelter on Laxey Promenade, currently used by the kiosk.
Works include year round seating, a concrete ramp to improve accessibility, lockers and barriers.
Wi-fi will also be provided, and the kiosk will be offered the option of a licence.
Commissioners say the shelter will be partially closed for short periods whilst work is done, which will fit in with the kiosk's winter opening shelter.
