Commissioners in Onchan have put off deciding whether a Pride event will go ahead in the village this summer.
Organisers had planned to host the celebration on Saturday, August 1 from midday until 9pm in Onchan Park and were expecting around 1,500 people to turn up.
But at its last meeting, the local authority said it still needed more details and the date would clash with an event at Onchan Raceway.
They've asked organisers to consider a different date, and delayed voting on whether to give the event the go-ahead.
