Port St Mary Commissioners is asking people to be more respectful of disposing of rubbish in the town.
The authority is asking residents not to leave bags of waste around the Town Hall car park bins if the containers are full.
It's asking in this instance for any recycling to be taken to the Southern Recycling Centre and domestic and commercial rubbish to be placed in wheelie bins outside homes.
Officials took to social media this week to issue its message.
