Patrick Commissioners have been promised more time to comment on plans for a sewage treatment plant off Glenfaba Road.
Environment Minister Geoffrey Boot made the commitment at a public meeting on the issue held on Thursday (23 May).
The local authority will now be given longer to prepare a response to the scheme.
It comes after a hard copy of the plans wasn’t delivered to the commissioners in time for their last board meeting.
