Changes to parking at the airport would ‘disadvantage’ residents in the north of the Island.
That's according to Ramsey Commissioner Juan McGuinness, who says using a car is a ‘necessity’ due to the lack of public transport links to the south.
The Department of Infrastructure has said it will be introducing the charges, which includes reducing free parking to 15 minutes, after the TT in June.
Mr McGuinness says the notice for the change could have been better advertised.
