A well-known comedian who’s been performing in Douglas this week has taken to Twitter after he was stuck on the Island because of travel delays.
Storm Doris meant Jon Richardson’s been stuck on the Isle of Man this afternoon after doing two shows at the Gaiety Theatre.
But after a weather-related incident meant Ronaldsway was forced to shut both of its runways, the funnyman explained to fans he was trapped at the airport.
Fortunately, his next show isn’t until Saturday, when he plays in St Albans.
Doris has me pinned down on the Isle Of Man. 10 hours at departures with a Costa and a small gift shop for company. Hilarity is NOT ensuing.
