Health and Social Care Minister Kate Beecroft says a new taxi company running the patient transfer service passed its probation period after halving the number of complaints made.
In Tynwald, Mrs Beecroft faced questions from North Douglas MHK David Ashford about the service run by ComCab Liverpool.
Mrs Beeccroft said she'd taken the decision to continue with the contract despite high-profile criticism from some of its users.
She revealed the actual number of gripes had been very low:
