Fire crews from Ramsey and Laxey were called into action on Saturday after a combine harvester caught fire.
It happened just after 2pm in Maughold.
On arrival firefighters found the machine, and around 200 metres of freshly cut crop, in a field alight.
Both were extinguished and crews remained on scene for over an hour to cool the inner workings of the combine harvester to prevent the fire re-igniting.
No one was injured during the incident.
