An Island nursing lecturer who touched a student sexually and bullied another has been struck off the professional register.
Henry Cleopus Fadzai Mutasa refused to take part in a Nursing and Midwifery Council hearing into his behaviour last month, saying he wasn't interested.
The NMC heard the Senior Lecturer for Mental Health Nursing for University College Isle of Man touched a student's breast and bottom for sexual purposes in 2019, and four years later bullied another student, failed to safeguard them and revealed their confidential information inappropriately.
All four charges were found proven and the Fitness to Practise Committee said striking him off the register was necessary to protect the public.
