January got off to a cold start this year, with an average temperature of 6.1 degrees Celsius.
That's 0.3 degrees below the thirty year average, according to Ronaldsway Met Office's latest summary report.
Rainfall came in at 125.4mm, which it says is about 50 percent more than the long term average.
Forecasters say the Island was also windier than normal, with a mean wind speed of 16.7 knots or just over 19 mph.
