Cold callers strike as Bill restricting them enters HoK

Protecting the public from cold calling is more pivotal now than ever before:

That's the chairman of the Office of Fair Trading who's moving the Consumer Protection Bill in the House of Keys.

The change makes it an offence for a trader to secure a contract for the sale of goods using that method.

David Quirk says the OFT has been contacted by a number of people falling victim to scams this month - he has this message for Manx residents:
