The recycling bank at Colby AFC car park has had to close.
Arbory Parish Commissioners says it's due to issues with litter blowing around the site, 'wear and tear' on the roads and youths congregating at the ground.
Meanwhile, the authority adds plastic recycling points at Colby and Ballabeg have also stopped and a new site for them is being searched for.
Those needing to dispose of recyclables are being advised to use the bring banks at Croit-e-Caley and Ballabeg.
