A Douglas coffee shop is hoping to let its customers drink al fresco - if a planning application is approved.
Coffee Republic, on Strand Street, has applied for permission for an outside seating area.
In its application the company says the area required would be very small - to cater for just two tables.
It adds it would only be needed between 9am and 5pm each day.
