Coastguard teams in the north of the Island are urging children to not play near cliffs following an incident at the weekend.
The message from Ramsey Coastguard comes after colleagues in Douglas and the RNLI were called to the aid of three young people who became stranded on cliffs near Marine Drive on Sunday afternoon.
No-one was injured during the incident, but Ramsey teams added had Douglas crews not been able to respond quickly the outcome could have been 'devastating'.
Officials took to social media to issue the message on keeping Island children safe around the shorelines.
