Coastguards were called out at the weekend after a 15-year-old boy became stranded on cliffs at Bradda Head.
Teams from Port Erin were called to the scene just before 11pm on Saturday (June 8) after the boy had slipped taking a photograph but managed to save himself from dropping towards the sea and ended up a on an area beneath Milner's Tower.
Crews traversed around 120 metres of cliff face to reach the teenager who escaped the incident without injury.
Authorities added the boy did the right thing by contacting 999 once he got into difficulty.
