Coastguards in Peel were called out this week to help prevent a pollution incident.
Officers were called to the outer harbour on Monday at 12pm and searched the area to find the source of the oil spill.
Two boats along side each other were determined as the possible cause.
Coastguard crews deployed pollution booms around the vessel to protect wildlife, and returned back to station by 1.45pm.
